CACKLER GALLERY
The three Cackling Geese reported by Guy last week were still present today at Parksville Park with about 150 Canadas. I just thought I would post their pictures for anyone who is interested in studying them.
Cackler #1 Cackler #2 Cackler #3 Ring-necked Ducks have started to appear in large numbers. I counted 24 in Dolphin Lake today. I also saw my first fall group of 5 Barrow's Goldeneyes today at Wall Beach. Nov. 1/05 - It was around this time of year at San Malo that a Lark Sparrow showed up. From a distance, I thought it was deja-vu, but it was a delightful little White-crown instead.
